A lone hearth tended keeps no glowing flame;borrow your neighbour's wood, the fire grows bold.Coals leaning close are coals that warm for long—scorn not to share one furnace from the cold.

This lot bids you not trust a solitary flame. A single coal cools fast; coals together keep warm. Borrow and be borrowed, and the fire endures—yet the outcome rests with Heaven; ask only of the sincerity of your fellowship.
