Lots of Even Fortune
The temple’s canon holds sixty fixed lots; 18 of them carry the grade “Even Fortune”. Open any lot to read its verse and keep its blessing slip. A ritual, not a guarantee.

- Omen No. 5・戊辰The lone pine on the cliff stands proud, yet cold;
- Omen No. 8・辛未At dawn the mist first wets a thousand fields,
- Omen No. 12・乙亥The moon waxes and wanes, yet walks each night the same,
- Omen No. 15・戊寅Dawn splits the dark, yet day is not yet whole;
- Omen No. 18・辛巳The dawn bell strikes before the hills awake,
- Omen No. 22・乙酉Press the one string upon its fret each dawning day,
- Omen No. 25・戊子A lone hearth tended keeps no glowing flame;
- Omen No. 28・辛卯The autumn goose flies south to scout the way,
- Omen No. 32・乙未Keep the hearth-fire from going cold,
- Omen No. 35・戊戌The lone pine on the cliff stands proud and high,
- Omen No. 38・辛丑At dawn the mountain path lies deep in mist
- Omen No. 42・乙巳The lone moon lights the cold sands night by night,
